Children said “Sports is kho kho”, “Cricket is a sport”, “oVlleyball is a sport”, “I see sports in my house, like skating and races are sports.” Children also said sports is ‘competition’.
Then one voice said “Outside on the road they give competitions.” Another child agreed with this thought and said ”Yeah, all the cars have stopped. First we need to park all the cars and then one boy or girl will win right!”
At SM Children do not blindly believe anything. Instead, when they face an experience they walk the path and make their own choices and create their narratives which is then discussed as a group.
Through sports, our children continue to make more connections on what sports is to them like “Playing is sports” and “Chess is sports” further expanding their view.
